The Financial Aid program is designed to provide financial assistance to students from federal, state, institutional, and private funding sources. The program also provides information to families about sources of funding, application procedures, and advice on financial and budgeting issues. Financial assistance may be provided in the form of loans, grants, scholarships, and student employment offered singularly or in some combination, depending upon the level of financial need, and various eligibility criteria .

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO STUDENTS:
SCC's priority deadline is June 1st prior to the start of the Fall semester. Financial aid applications received after this date will still be considered for aid, but the student may not actually receive funds until after the start of the semester. Students who file after the priority date should be prepared to use their own funds to pay for their tuition and fees prior to the payment deadline.
